I have had the idea
for a website ever since
Aros MotorVeterans made their museum trip to
Germany. This website should among all handle about things I found
important for my life. I took over 500 pictures. These I have in my
computer since. I have regularly looked at them. I mean. they have
changed on my computer screen. In this way I have been updated. Why
should pictures be laying on a box. Note also I have personally visited
planned websites about museums
This has now led to make this website about Björn Bellander and what
nice things I have done in my life. Ok something annoying too. I started
to make headlines. After a while it became quite a lot. Dividing was
necessary. Of course things that happened in my active life was of
current interest. However I will try to concentrate on such things that
feel old for the 2006 generation. I started with the museums. Earlier I
had got permission from most of them we visited to use there material we
had with us home. It showed up to be quite much. I will work on this
website for a long time.

This part covers, what I have done, being a member of different motor
clubs. The main club is of course SSK, Stockholms Sportvagnsklubb, in
which I have been a member since the 50th. I have been both secretary
and treasurer. A few years I wrote the club paper, "Sportvagnen and Vi".
It will be shown under its own headline. You can see everything of this
material. The part up to the point when I begun to be a organizer of
racing will be one
part. This include my Ferrari time with the followers of race
sport cars. These come also under the headline My Cars. I have not yet
decided how to divide it. After the competition period I started to work
with SSK-series. I was responsible for race planning, race registration,
officials and as race leader. During 2 years I took time out from my
ordinary work in order to make full time with SSK. I decided to make a
film to document how to carry through a race. I planned, filmed and cut
the film. This will be a main line in small parts in this headline. To
be mentioned also is that the idea for this division lay on Robin
Shorter who had the ability to handle officials and all the long time
planning. A laborious time but fun. I myself was perhaps a little
unpolished and this was not popular at the Car Association (SBF) in
Sweden. They saw for some years SSK as an enemy. Several members of SSK
were brought up to heavy knowledge about racing and several became
leading persons within SBF. For ex. Per Schoultz for whom I wrote the
introduction letter. Also race vehicle examiner became member of the SBF
examiner group. Robin Shorter was a member of leading group. Gunnar Elmgren
became for a time the leader of SBF. Our race regulations was so widely
used that after much resistance it was printed in the regulation book.
Just as box car regulation which I had written the first version of. I
gave the final shape for the start procedure of a race which was adopted
as Swedish standard. I can say that despite my unpolished behavior I
think that drivers and officials gave me support and encouragement.
Those who have the power always get enemies and for this I felt my part
was done and withdrew my engagement from SSK in late the autumn 1980.

My big problem is that I have no experience making nice website
layouts. Another is that in the text when I direct to a country I
try to make to the country at that time. When I made my research I understood that the most important
was to have a nice layout, not the content. However I want order, easy
to find, certain things always in the same place and so on. Hence it
follows that my first sites will change according to my knowledge in
Frontpage 2003 will grow. May be also my English will be better.
